“...Post session, I can proclaim that my focus, sense of clarity, and direction in my daily life have improved dramatically. Alisha’s professionalism and genuine care for my well being persisted throughout the days following my session, checking in on my thoughts and feelings to ensure that I received the most out of my session....I am looking forward to booking more sessions myself and keeping the mindset that I have developed this week in perpetuity. Thank you, Alisha!”
-Josie Michaels
"My session with Alisha was enlightening in more than one way. I felt calm and held even from a distance through a screen. She sensed into exactly what I needed in a deep and peaceful way. I felt some real change after our session, followed by a deeper connection with my intuitive self. I would absolutely recommend working with her, especially if you are struggling with something and need deeper insight. I am so grateful to have her in our community and in my support network."

What is TMS Mind-Body Work?
This approach suggests that the brain can create real physical symptoms as a protective response to emotional stress, unresolved emotions, or fear.
All of these symptoms are real.
In today’s world, we are constantly exposed to psychological stress. Yet we are rarely encouraged to feel and process our emotions as they arise. Instead, we often suppress anger, fear, sadness, grief, and feelings of overwhelm.
Our primitive brains were designed to protect us from physical dangers like bears, tigers, and other predators. In modern life, however, the brain cannot always distinguish between emotional stress and physical threats.
-
As a result, it can send danger signals in the form of pain, fatigue, anxiety, digestive issues, dizziness, and many other symptoms, just as it would if we heard a lion’s roar.
Over time, the brain can become stuck in these learned neural pathways, even long after the original stressor has passed. That stressor may have been life stress, an injury, an illness, or a combination of many experiences. Doctors may refer to this as neuroplastic symptoms or Mind-Body Syndrome. Dr. John Sarno originally called this Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS).
The encouraging news is that because these symptoms are neuroplastic, they can also change.
Neuroplastic symptoms can heal by creating greater feelings of safety within and by calming the nervous system.
Through this TMS mind-body approach, we create new neural pathways for health and well-being by:
-
Helping the brain recognize that we are safe
-
Learning to regulate the nervous system, and
-
Gently processing and allowing our emotions.
As the brain no longer perceives danger, symptoms can gradually lessen, allowing many people to find freedom from chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and other persistent neuroplastic symptoms.

"If you are still thinking about working with Alisha as a health coach, I would highly recommend it. I was feeling stuck before I began working with Alisha and I have come so far in my recovery journey since working with her. Alisha always leaves you with tools to work on and sends you a detailed report on what your session was all about. On another note, she is always available to answer emails and will forward you feedback very quickly. "

“Alisha helped me return to calmness. The mind, body, soul connection has everything to do with my journey to healing, and no better than Alisha to bring light to this untaught realm. For me a monthly session measurably lowers my Cortisol and blood pressure and gently nudges me towards a greater awareness of myself.”
